I'm doing some diaper research in order to see how each kind will affect our budget. We'd like to use eco-friendly disposables, but they're obviously the most expensive choice. Before we make much of a decision on this, it would help to get a sense of what we'd be in for financially. While I can figure out the cost per diaper, I need an estimate of how many we're likely to go through per day/week/month to really see what that will mean. Moms of twins, how many would you say you go through each day? How much does that change over time?
Also, does anyone know of a good source that's already worked this out?

I use this brand for the nanny who doesn't do cloth:

I used to use 7th generation but those are not the best diapers...
for the first month or two you will likely go through 8-10 diapers per child per day. As they get older it starts to become less, but still a lot... we go through about 5-8 diapers per child per day now. Griffin is 2.5 and he uses only maybe 3-5 diapers per day now - and will be PT soon hopefully.
we use regular diapers - kirkland brand works great for us - and we get huggies and pampers when they are on sale and come out cheaper per diaper than kirkland.
