Now that I see the light at the end of the tunnel, I've been catching myself "Window shopping" online for non-maternity clothes--I feel like it's giving me major incentive to get my tush to the gym when this LO decides to arrive. Anyone else?
Not yet. My ass is a far cry from fitting into my pre-pregnancy size and I don't want to blow a bunch of money on stuff that won't fit after I get back into shape.
But I'm totally looking forward to working out again and dropping some poundage!
I have found myself eying a few things and wondering what my body will look like post-baby. I asked for GCs for Christmas in case I can't wear my old clothes anymore
I do this everytime DH & I go walking at the mall. I am so looking forward to fitting back into my pre-preg jeans. DH says he can't wait to buy me slutty shirts to show off my new bigger boobs. LOL. But non maternity clothes are starting to look VERY inviting. Good luck losing the baby weight when the time comes!

I went Christmas shopping today for my sister(she wanted clothes), so I went to the mall and there are SO many cute clothes out there. I haven't been to the mall in a long time, and when I do go, I've been going straight to gap maternity. I got all sad because I miss my normal clothes.
Lets all just cross our fingers we can work this baby weight off quickly (at least enough to feel pretty good in a pair of "going out" jeans) Spring sales, here I come!!
Yeah but window shopping mAkes me sad! Even non pregnant chicks dressed cute get me a little blue.
I'm so ready to get back into shape and I know it will be hard (I had a hard time after DD). Sigh
DH laughed at me as I did this today...I have told myself if I get back down to the size I want (which was my goal pre-pregnancy) that I will treat myself to some new jeans and a couple of new swim suits as a reward. My goal is size 8 or 10 by the end of the school year (I was a 12/14, sometimes 16 before pg).
There should be a board for this-lol, my friends who aren't pg go on about how they want to diet/exercise (which I can't do either right now, just eat right and try move and not be a tooootal couch potato), I kind of feel like it would be cool to have other women coming from the same situation (bc lets face it, dieting and exercising with a friend who didn't just spend 9 mos gaining weight and who isn't sleep deprived with a screaming infant waiting for them at home MIGHT not face the same diet/exercise challenges as we will).
ps-sorry if there is already one that I missed, I tried to scroll down the sides but nothing caught my eye as being like that.
Penney's is making me wanna cry these days. I've been waiting for YEARS for late 50s/ early 60s styles to come back. Of course, the year that Mad Men is the hottest thing ever, and the style trickles into the department stores... I'm hugely pregnant. Pencil skirts, blouses with ties, sexy little sweater sets... all ON SALE all the time at Penney's, and all totally out of my reach.
Nordstrom makes me want to cry, too.

It took me about 5 months before I sort of enjoyed clothing shopping. I'm normally a 2 and was a 14 after giving birth. Clothing shopping was torture.
I'm with you. Last fall, was wearing size 4.. this fall, maternity XL pants.. I had to lose a ton after pg#1 and I know what's coming, but I'm not l really excited about it..
Of course, I will feel better when I don't have a basketball where my abdomen used to be..
