im thinking about asking for it for xmas..i don't wear much makeup at all..but sometimes i like to look nice, like when i go to the pedi, since that is about the only time i leave the house anymore, haha
when i use foundation, i like it to be light, like i usually just get tinted moisturizer...
if you have tried this stuff did you like it?

Re: anybody use bare minerals?
I also use very light foundation if any or a tinted moisturizer. I tried bare minerals but I have very dry skin and it ended up making me look flaky! The only way I can wear it is to do a layer of moisturizer then one of foundation then use it as a powder which sort of defeats the purpose. So instead I talked to the makeup ladies and found a foundation that is super light and hydrating. Whenever I wear people are like oh you most of slept well last night.
My sister swears by bare minerals her skin tends to run more oily and on her it can be used without anything and looks great!

i use it and REALLY like it. i don't wear makeup very often but when i get dressed up i use the bare minerals as foundation. i love that it makes my complexion look so good, but without heavy foundation that shows.
when i first got it i bought a kit at target that had some smaller sizes of the powders and a purse sized kabuki brush. that fully got me hooked!
I use fairly light foundation and I like it. I have mild rosasea and it covers it up nicely. It gives you nice coverage, although it's messy and it's not something like a compact like can be applied in less than a minute and in the car (which I used to do!!)
I also have drier skin, but BM is great for me! I love it, i use it for every day. I NEVER leave the house without makeup, foundation, eye liner, mascara...WHen I am getting dressed up, though, I use Bobbi Brown foundation
I always moisurize right after the shower and then after I am dried off and dressed, I do make up, so perhaps that is why I do well with it, regardless of dry skin. the other thing I have heard for flakiness is to use less
