i just wanted to say thanks to all of you that replied to my earlier post on deciding whether to transfer two or three embies. the responses from the message boards were more helpful to me than all of my google searches and all of my conversations with people IRL put together! having heard the thoughts of people who have gone through this, i've realized that if i have good quality embies, being cautious and transferring two rather than three is definitely the right thing for me.
thanks again!
Re: thanks so much to those of you who replied to my question about # of embies
good luck!
i think your decision is good. putting in more embryos doesnt increase your chance of pregnancy but instead just increases your chance of multiples.
that sounds like a wise choice- esp since you haven't done IVF before - generally if it's your first one- being conservative is smart... if you had failed a bunch of IVFs and were a lot older- then putting in more might be better... but you're young and hopefully doing one IVF will do the trick!!
Best of luck to you!!!!
