Trouble TTC

Anyone heard of Tru Chocolate?

Hi Ladies,

Just a question...my husband and I are on cycle 3 of TTC...I have been trying to lose weight gradually in the process just by eating more greens and eating healthier in general so I would look/feel good and increase odds of getting pregnant. Recently, I began a program called Tru Chocolate...they are chocolates you eat a few times/day that are supposed to help with weight loss. They are not like all the fast diet pills and instead are full of antioxidants and many other beneficial items for good health...including green tea that is supposedly a fertility increaser....has anyone heard/tried these? Should I be worried at all taking these while actively trying to get pregnant?

As soon as we get pregnant I am coming right off them as I know you are supposed to gain weight anyways while pregnant...just was wondering about them in the meantime...

Thank you!

  • I would be leery of anything that claims to be good for weight loss besides diet and exercise!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

  • You should avoid herbs unless you get an okay from your doctor.  Different herbs do different things including preventing implantation.  Also, green tea can prevent folic acid from absorbing into your body so you should avoid it 4 hours before you take a PNV.  Also, I think that green tea is not recommended during the luteal phase.
