My peanut is still in her infant seat, but we are ready to buy a "real" carseat for her. I'm feeling so overwhelmed. How do you know which one to buy? Clearly there are a lot of options out there
Our biggest deciding factor was one that would allow DS to remain rear-facing for the longest amount of time, which led us to Britax, and we decided on the Britax Advocate specifically because it seemed to have the most safety features out of the Britax ones we were looking at.
I went w/ the Graco My Ride 65 b/c it allowed me to keep her ERF until 40lbs (if she allows it), it had good safety features, and it was the right price (I couldn't afford a Britax). I got it on sale at Target for $120.
I knew I wanted a Britax, so from there I went to their website and did side by side comparisons of their different models.
At the very least I wanted a Marathon, and I ended up with a Boulevard.
We love it!
Right now we only have one convertible seat, and whoever has my DD takes the car with the seat in it (my car). I'm thinking of getting an Evenflo Triumph as an extra seat for my DH's car.
