Buy/make a "plain" tree skirt, then have the children add a handprint each year! Doesn't that sound like it would be adorable?
I wonder if it would matter if I did it and just didn't have Gavin's first Christmas handprint on it.

Just thought of this...last year I made placemats for our dining room with Gavin's footprints and made them into snowmen like the picture below. I think I'm going to go get a new tree skirt and do the feet instead!
I like the idea but I think that I would add them to the back/ underside of the skirt. I like markers but I don't always like looking at them if that makes any sense.

sounds cute- I would probably do it in fabric and just heat-n-bond it or applique it to the skirt so it didn't get damaged. I love hand and foot print crafts!
