I really didn't watch or know much about it, but from the little I did see, I wasn't convinced she did it. But I think my assumptions were based mostly on how she looked and acted, she just seemed like such a sweetie all the time. But, like I said, I didn't follow it too closely.

I too am in shock that she was found guilty. It is actually scary to me that someone can be found guilty for such a crime when there is absolutely no evidence to prove it. She seems like such a sweet girl. But honestly I feel so bad for her poor parents. This whole thing is crazy to me.
I think she may have done it but I definitely don't think she would have been guilty 'beyond a resonable doubt' here in the U.S. I mean, the only pieces of evidence that tied her and her boyfriend to it were one drop of her blood in the bidet that they shared, and her bf's DNA on a bra clasp that they didn't collect from the murder scene for like 60 days after the murder? And no murder weapon. With the drug involvement, I think they could have been blown out high and that's why their memory of the 'times' didn't quite mesh. And turning off your cell phone when you're a waitress and you don't want to get called in after you unexpectedly got the night off is totally reasonable to me.

Agreed. I was really shocked she was convicted. At least she didn't get life in prison as they had originally requested...that included something like 9 months solitary confinement, yikes
This.

I really don't think she did it. I watched a couple shows about it but I am by no means an expert. It seems like they investigators did a really sloppy job and the European press really slammed her. I feel so sad for her and her family. I think she is going to appeal. I hope she has success.
Re: NBR - Amanda Knox's guilty conviction
