3rd Trimester

So I feel guilty..

I ordered a bpump on cyber monday from bru...well 2 days later I got one as a gift from a family member that can't come to my shower.  So today, I recieved the bpump I bought on cmonday in the mail.  I took it to bru to return it.  They offered me store credit, which is fine, because we will be buying stuff to finish our registry anyway...but then when they gave me the gift card w/ the store credit, it was $70 more than what I paid (I had used some coupons/offers on cyber monday).  I wasn't really paying attention and said thanks and walked out into the mall to find a bathroom (had to pee really bad).

I feel like Karma is going to bite me in the @ss b/c I didn't go back after I realized the mistake.  I think I'll buy some formula & diapers and give it to the food bank locally to "make-up" for it.

  • I'm a big believer in Karma.  I would go back and explain to them what happened.

I had a gift card for Macy's once... It was for $300.  DH and I were in Vegas and we were eloping the next day.  I was looking for a dress and what I picked out came to about $450.  So, I was going to give the g.c. and then pay the difference.

The girl did something and rang it up in a MAJORLY wrong way and it came to only $70 (total).  I leaned in and said (so the other cashiers wouldn't hear her), "I think my total is wrong."

She goes, "Oh no, no, it's right!"

I leaned in again and was like, "Seriously, it should be a lot more than that."

She took a second look and then she started CRYING and thanked me and said she would have lost her job.

Not trying to pull a total guilt trip on you but I tooootally believe in karma and if you do too, you'll be worried about this for awhile!

Take the stuff back and tell them what happened!

  • I've probably gotten people fired before... oh well. I figure if it were me making a silly mistake & my customer didn't notice, it would be my karma not their's. Keep the money!!!

Not a good example for your child-to-be!

    Heheheh.

    Shhhhhhhhhhh.

I need to quit saying "Motha-@" so much, speaking of being a good influence.  My cursing is out of control.

  • :) as long as you stop by the time they're talking... i got much better after #1 started talking, lets just say.
  • I'd keep it. I've had such problems with trying to return stuff that was bought off my registry at BRU that I would not feel guilty about it. I will never buy anything from them again. The customer service is horrible and the store itself is a rip off. That's just my opinion.
