Anyone do Intralipid therapy?

My dr. has recommended Intralipid therapy due to elevated Natural Killer cells.  I am going in today for the transfusion.  Just curious if anyone else has done it, and what I should expect.  It sounds pretty easy.....just sit in a chair w/ an IV in my arm for 2 hours or so.  I haven't heard about any side effects, so hopefully there won't be any.   My clinic recommends it 7-10 days before ET and then again if you get a positive beta.

  • I did on IVF #2 and I did get pregnant that cycle, but it didnt stick. I had no side effects. Intralipids was really easy- just bring a book or some magazines. Good luck!

  • I did on IVF#2 (didn't make it to ET) and will again for my FET. Our office uses a visiting nurse service so they come right to my house to do it. :) It's super easy, no side effects, only takes about an hour for the actual infusion. Easy peasy.
