I hear that's how it is, and if so, I am lucky bc LO sleeps all night long and takes lots of naps during the day! I am sure with my luck though, she will be totally opposite as an outside baby.
My two act very much like they did in the womb, activity wise. My first was a hellraiser inside and is the same now, and he's 28 months old. My second was very laid back and still is.
I'm a little nervous about this one...he never stops moving.
I'm gonna have to go with yes. I know that all babies are different, but with DS he was super active inside, and 9 years later is still super active on the outside. This is the same with DS#2. I wouldn't have it any other way. Keeps me on my toes.
So funny you just posted this cause there was just some MAJOR movements. I think she might be using my organs as a trampoline! Isn't it amazing, there's really a baby in there!!!
DD#1 was super active in the womb and was colicky. DD#2 was mellow and was the easiest baby in the universe. This guy moves more than his biggest sister so I think I'm in for an interesting few months.
My LO doesn't stop!!! I am hoping that when she comes out she will be soo tired from not sleeping for 9-10 months that she will just pass out and sleep all the time!
During an ultrasound, my OB compared my baby to Conan O'Brien because he/she was all over the place. Can you imagine what he was like as a two-year old? Yikes!
lol...oh goodness! She's going to have her daddy's activity level. I wasn't very hyper or active when I was little. She already has a preference of her music. DH plays her music every night, and its usually classical/rock...but the minute I play country/pop music, she won't move.
She better get something from me...maybe my looks lol
That is what my Dr. said . . I don't know if he was joking or not but he always teases me about having the most active child ever . . a little energizer bunny he called her.

That's what happened with my first! Every day DS was having soccer practice inside, and hasn't stopped running since he figured out he could!
This baby is a lot more mellow, so I'm hoping she will be mellow on the outside as well!
This is exactly the case with me. DD tends to be all over the place (they call her Taylor Swift as school just because she's constantly in motion). Crossing fingers we're in for a more mellow one? I love DD's activity now, but she was a bit of a pain as a newborn. lol, when she came out all DH could say was "woah, she won't stop moving. . yup, still moving. . .when will she calm down?"

When DS was born he did wiggle and squirm alot and I remember thinking that it made since why I felt kicks all over the place. I don't think he is anymore active as a toddler than average. But unswaddled as a newborn he was a wiggle worm.

FWIW, my DS is very much as he was while in the womb. He would always start dancing to music while I was pregnant and he's still very much obsessed with anything music related. He even has pretty good rhythm when clapping along to music. I'm not sure where he got any of that, since neither of his parents are musical in the least bit.
Baby YooHoo so far is very mellow so I'm very hopeful that's how he'll be when he's born. One can hope, right?

I heard if they're active inside, they're mellow outside and if they're mellow outside they're active outside
But I really don't believe that. I have a feeling I'm going to be running around 24-7 with my LO because he parties in my belly all the time!
My mom told me this. My DD is all over the place. Took almost 2 hours for the 20 week sonagram becasue she would not stop moving. The tech kept asking how caffine I had and when I said none she was shocked. According to my mom, I was the same way but was a really easy baby who loved to sleep. I am hoping this child takes after me LOL. I will say as a child I was active joining everything I could lol
Oh and I was talking about this with a friend recently. She said all 3 of her kids were very much the same while on the inside as when they were born. Activity wise and right now to eating habits relating to her cravings. She says it's still true and her youngest is 15yo and still sticking to the same personality she had while in the womb.
DS is the same in regards to cravings too. I craved fruit 24/7 with him and he would eat fruit 24/7 if I let him. I have to cut him off at some point, otherwise, he'd poop straight OJ.

Wow...good to know lol! I guess she'll probably LOVE tomatoes! That really has been my only craving this whole pregnancy (and I hate tomatoes)

Ha Ha! Sorry to be nosy, but is this your first? Who are the cute kids in your siggy?
If the amount of movement inside the womb is an indication of how active the baby will be, this will be one super energetic child!
Those are my radically awesome SKs. They get their cuteness from me.

DD#1: Mellow on inside and out
DD#2: Also mellow on inside. We'll see...
Found the above to be true in the NICU population as well. Fiesty in? Feisty out. Chilled in? Chilled out.
