Shower locations

in Detroit Babies

Any recommendations for baby showers in the Oakland County area? Specifically something in Rochester, Lake Orion, Auburn Hills, Troy or in Macomb County Sterling Heights/Macomb?

Another question: For those of you that had your shower at Magianno's in Troy ( I know a few of you have) do you know approx. how much it was for the room rental/overall cost?

    These were my sugesstions:

    Troy: Maggianos, Brio ( I think they have a small room), Picanos, champps

    Rochester: Alibi, Kruse and Muer (same for lake orion)

    Shelby Twp: Neeley and I both had it at Tiramisu (one in troy also). It was less then 10 a person. Cherry Creek

    Clinton Twp: Partrdge Creek

    Macomb: Sycamore Hills

    I am having mine at Papa Vino's this Saturday in Troy off Coolidge. I can't remember how many people it holds but I know its at least 60.  I don't believe there is a room charge but if you call ask for Robyn she has been great to work with so far and my brother had his Wedding Rehearsal Dinner there as well.

    I had mine at Champp's in Troy and it was great and pretty cheap ($12.95pp, I think?).  The food and service were both great.  My sister is having hers at Kruse and Muer in Troy in January- it's about $15 pp I think, depending on what you get.

    J&R - is this the Tiramisu one? I didn't see a Troy location, so I thought I would double check. Shelby is actually closer anyways.

    That is the one. I am so bad with locations. I was thinking the sterling hts one was in troy. I wish I had saved the menu but of course it is on my work computer not my home one. I have pictures on my facebook of the room I think. add me if you want to see it

    I had my shower at Penna's - Lakeside location.  They have a couple rooms depending on your approximate # of guest and some different menu options.  Staff was great and the food was delicious!
