I'm outgrowing my baggy gym stuff and dh's shorts aren't fitting very well these days. I'm looking for workout clothes, but I can't find any decent stuff that actually seems to be intended for exercise - lots of velour and heavy fleece, no lighter fabrics or practical pieces, or items intended to actually stay up and in place.
Does anyone know where I can find this? I've tried Gap, ON, Target, but nothing seems right.
WHat are you using for exercise?
Re: where to buy maternity workout clothes for actual exercise?
Ross has a pretty big selection of work out clothes... the yoga pants may not nec be maternity but they should still fit since they have a stretch top.
What is exercise?
Please refer to my below post about drowning myself in pizza (and probably ice cream).
Soulmates.?
This is what I do, my sweats from both Target and NY & Co still work. I did buy one pair of maternity shorts from JCPenney that I like.
But, I am very impressed with you for still exercising! You should be proud!
It's a great idea and I would totally do that, but I've gained way too much with this pregnancy and even my baggy stuff is just horrific these days. Seriously, I've gone from a size S/M to XL maternity. Hence the need to not give up on exercise...
I figured that once I couldn't fit into my workout attire, it wasn't meant to be for me to be working out. I like my break. I'm wayyy too hard on myself the not pregnant. 6 more weeks of laziness.... ahhhhhh
There's one maternity workout top at Title Nine, which was my first thought. I'm disappointed in them. Otherwise, you might need to simply google and try one of the specialty online stores that pops up. I wear some yoga "shorts"from prepregnancy but I do wish I had something that fit under or over my belly better.
Sounds like a business opportunity for someone out there!
