    That is so neat! I know she will cherish it. My dad made one for my sister when she was a kid and she still has it to this day.

    Yes and no.  He does it as a hobby that he sells.  His work is really gorgeous and I think when it's all said and done he makes like $1 an hour (or less!)- LOL.   He's a total perfectionist.  A few weeks ago, He told me he had the cradle almost done and then wasn't happy with it so he took it all apart and started again (not from scratch but nearly)... And the pictures I posted were not of the finished piece - he says he still has a few more hours to work on it.  If you asked me, I would never be able to tell. 

     I doubt he could get one done in time for xmas but if you're interested in getting something made for Caroline before you move, let me know... I can give you his email addy.

    I saw those pics on fb, I LOVE that! I think it looks perfect as is, but I'm sure he sees things that noone else would ever see.

    Aw, so sweet! I had a doll cradle like that as a kid and always loved it. My parents still have it. :)
