PIP finished DIY mobile

I posted awhile ago that I did a mobile for the nursery. It will be a Starry Night theme, and all the mobiles I found on Etsy were around 70.00. So I did it myself. I think it turned out well.

Here is the finished mobile with beads. I think it turned out well. The picture sucks but I tend to finish projects at night so I dont get good light. And I definitely spent a lot less than 70.00. Although it was a tedious project, especially stringing and crimping the beads.

Love the mobile! What did you use at the top to hold all the strings?

Aww congrats to you too!! I used embroidery hoops that DH painted brown. Then I hot glued the ribbons that will hold it to the ceiling.

I dont post much on West Coast just because it seems rather slow there. How funny, you arent that far ahead of me! Are you still making things for nesties?

You're due on my wedding anniv! The WFC Baby board is very slow but the regular board isn't too bad.

I actually have an etsy site for the server sets. I also started making candy scoops with beaded handles and I recently tried baby sets too. I haven't updated the shop lately because I just haven't had time. I'm starting to feel like I need to get some stuff going so I'm sure there will be some new sets posted soon.

I really like it! I did my own too and even though it took a lot of time I was more pleased with the finished product than any at the store I could've bought.
