Re: What do you think of the name...

  • It's my great-grandmother's name and if my sister hadn't claimed it 10 years ago and we were having a girl, it would be my DD's name!!

  • I like it.  Would you use Bella as a nickname?
  • I think it's very pretty, and the name's meaning just caps it off.
  • My godson went to school with an Arabella and she was GORGEOUS! Not that might have much to do with it, but I love the name.

I was hoping you would say no.  Stick out tongue  I love how unique Arabella is.

  • A beauty named Arabella inspired Alexander Pope to write The Rape of the Lock! I think it's GORGEOUS, btw.

I'm loving these regal girl names lately: Victoria, Arabella, etc.

Me too.  It really is a cute name, but it suddenly became repulsive with the Edward/Jacob obsession.

  • Very nice!

    Right!

I was debating between Isabella and Elliana for a girl.... Love Twilight, but Isabella is ruined.

ETA: I love the books. The movies, though I've seen, are a little too melodramatic for me. So are the books, but it's different when you let your imagination run with it, not Isabella and Edward acting like they're orgasming when they're lips haven't even touched. Goodness.
