    My Christmas tree growing up was covered in half-lit strings of lights, weird foreign ornaments (dad was in the Navy), and handmade ornaments from CCD. I have no judgments on tacky trees. They make me feel right at home.

    Tacky is just a term uncool people use because they don't know that what they are looking at/talking about is retro-postmodern-chic.

    Gals who have their thongs hanging out the top of their jeans/pants.

    Guys who have their pants so low you can see their boxers. I don't know how they could ever out-run the cops when the crotch of their pants is at their knees.

    Inflatable lawn deco (though I had one for Halloween this year.  Blame DH)  colored light and CHEAP angel tree toppers (though I've never seen one I like ever!  Cheap or not.)  Fishnet hose.

    Christmas related--I don't care. Unless you put Christmas lights on a pile of garbage it's fine with me. Sometimes it might be tacky but at least it's festive. I love Christmas. The more big plastic Santas in one's front yard the better!!! It's NMS, but I like that people get into it so much. Makes the world a cheerier place.

    lawn blow ups even the sports ones. blinking lights mixed with non blinking lights. i don't think they are unfestive, just tacky. those giant wilma flintstone necklaces people wear. pleather. babies on leashes. cats on leashes. okay those last two might just be opinions.. but i was getting all riled up!
