I accidentally outed my cousin to our entire family

Her FB status said "Dear Phenergan, Please help me with my nausea. I would really like to enjoy my t'day dinner tomorrow. Thanks for your help (hopefully)."

And one of her friends' comments was "Zofran was my buddy :)"

So I called my aunt (not her mom) to ask if she was pregnant.  Aunt didn't know, other aunt (also not her mom) didn't know, 2 cousins didn't know, my mom didn't know.  Finally, 3rd cousin confirmed that she is due in July and wasn't telling anyone yet.

Can I help it that I know what Phenergan and Zofran are for???

    Then technically YOU didn't out her, the third cousin did. That's her fault for putting that on there. Duh, she clearly is telling other people. Silly girls....

    That's totally her fault!  I would feel bad too, though.  But you can't assume everyone on Facebook is clueless.

    You can't put something indicating pregnancy on FB if you don't want people to know you're pregnant. DUH!

    Exactly.  If you don't want anyone to know then don't post a status that in any way relates to pregnancy.

    It was bound to happen (to anyone) when she posted pregnancy related stuff on FB.

     I 110% agree with this. If people didn't know what that was, who's to say they wouldn't google it and find out it's pregnancy related?? I know anytime a family member ( or even friend) posts something I'm clueless about, off to google I go. Huh?

    Yeah, since she is the only one who has EVER been given this medicine or who has EVER been throwing up! Confused
