I mentioned Bryce to DH back when we were picking names for DS...who was still unknown as a boy. DH thought I was saying it for a girl. So, now again, he is back to liking Bryce for a girl. I like it, but am kinda on the fence. I would need a very feminie MN....like Katherine to go with it.
Thoughts? Tell me all likes and dislikes. Do you think she'd be made fun of in anyway?
Re: Bryce....for a girl?
LOVE it for a girl
I like it. If you give her a strong feminine middle name she has the choice when she is older to go by either name.

I just saw this movie and thought about her too, but her name was actually Ryce, but really close anyway.
I actually like the name Bryce for a girl, but I guess because I went to school with a girl named Bryce and she was very feminine and model-like. It is all about association. I agree with you though, I would use a definite girl name for MN just to avoid any possible confusion.
ditto.

To me it's a boy name. I like some names that can be used for a girl too, but Bryce seems so masculine to me.
Honestly, I wouldn't do it, but it's not my baby so if you love the name, go ahead. I'd pair it with a very feminine middle name though...
I went to high school with a girl whose middle name was Bryce... I believe it was a last name in her family. (I'm from the south, and that's a pretty common thing to do among people I know, for boys and girls.) She went by her first name, which was also a boys name, now that I think about it, but it worked for her.
That's the thing, though... I don't think every girl can pull off a more traditionally male name, and unfortunately you won't know until your daughter is older whether it works for her.
I have only heard it used as a boys name so I'd have to say no way for using it for a girl.
I like some unisex names, but Bryce is a boy name. All boy.
I never used to understand why people would get so irritated by boy names on girls, but now I get it. Girls are stealing every name, next thing you know there is going to be a girl on the playground named Matthew. Sigh.
I just want to give you a world as beautiful as you are to me.
