What to do for DS today?

He had his H1N1 shot yesterday.  This morning he woke up incredibly stuffed up, my biggest guess is from allergies because everytime I go over to the bed mine start acting up like crazy.  He doesn't have any other signs of a cold/sickness.  DH is at drill and has the car all day today.  Is there anything I can do to help DS get rid of the stuffiness when he lays down for his nap this afternoon?

We have a grocery store a mile away for a walk but it's very cold and I don't know that I'd make it home easily pushing him in his stroller since it's also a hilly mile and I'd have to lift the stroller  for two areas because the walking pavement narrows too much into the main road.  But, I'd definitely do it if I have to.

    Do you have any saline spray? I have to quirt iy in DS's nose at every diaper change to help w/ stuffiness.

    Saline and a humidifier are really the best options.  Poor little guy - my DS is still getting over a cold/teething/shots thing and has a stuffy nose too.  No fun!

    I have neither!  I have EO's and I might be able to find some Vick's in the house here to put into some steamy water.  Would that work?

     

    (I just found another lovely huge spot of mold down here so as much as I want a humidifier for us because it would help us breathe I'm not getting one until we move out!)
