Bc I LOOOOOVEEE the holidays...

Have you put up your tree? If so, PIP it! I wanna get some inspiration because this year I am buying all new decor for the tree in memoir of my babies. DS, DD and I are going to make lots and lots of homemade ornaments! :) TIA

    I'm finally going to put ours up tomorrow. We always put it up on Thanksgiving night or that Friday. This is the latest we've ever waited.

    Colton's too busy trying to get into the fireplace (**sigh** yes, the firepace) that I'm sure he won't have time to bother the tree.

    I LOVE Christmas and decorations and trees. However, we haven't had a Christmas tree in 7 years.  We work so much in the month of December, we're not home to enjoy it.

    We'll put one up when DS is old enough to enjoy it (without just wanting to eat the ornaments and tear it all down. LOL)  

     We'll get to enjoy the IL's tree when we're down there for a couple of days.  (:::sigh::: it's just not the same as having our own.)

    Ours has been up since last week, but no pics yet and nothing homemade which sounds like a lot of fun a great tradition to start with the kids!

    What a great idea to do homemade ornaments.  We have collected ornaments from each place we go.  Its kinda our tradition.  Its fun to decorate the tree and say "remember we got this one here and that one there".  Plus we have the ones dd made in Kindergarten with her handprints and such.

    We just bought ours last night! It is my first real tree! I am so excited!

    We are waiting for it to fully unfold to decorate, but we have decorations from our original wedding date of Dec 15. We ended up changing our date to the August 2007 instead and thank goodness! Dec 15, 2007 is when that huge ice storm hit Tulsa and knocked out power for weeks. So we are finally going to be able to use those ornatments finally haha!

    We do this too.  DH comes from a long line of 'formal Xmas trees' and still can't get over how 'homemade' ours looks (colored lights and mixmatched decorations ... THE HORROR!!!, lol) ... but I love it!  I'm such a sap taking all the decorations out of the box and thinking about when we got them.  :)
