    I mean, I would probably never call my daughter a "little whore," but I also don't think this was all that bad.

    It's a pretty harsh word for a little one, but she's not calling her an actual whore.

    She is posting on a board.  Not the best choice of words, but I doubt she calls her daughter a whore in person.

    Wow.. some people I guess don't know how to take certain peoples since of humor,, I mean granted she probably did use a poor choice of words, but i know people who use that as an affectionate term (as strange as it is) And it was dead wrong for the other poster to say that about her daughter reading it someday... 1. She will never read it 2. If she did I am sure she would know her mother was being sarcastic

    Sounds like I'm in the minority here. It's one thing to joke around with your adult friends, but calling your child a little whore is just trashy. Calling your baby a turd - also much different than calling your baby a little whore.

    IMO.

    I call DD a turd all the time!!  Since she has been potty trained I try to keep her from saying certain words, but her Nana calls her poop "making a turd".  Well, we thought we would be cute and spell it, so now Jenna will randomly say...

     "T-U-R-D turd!" and she is sooo happy with herself about being able to spell!!!

    So, obviously, I think turd and other silly names are ok.. however calling your child a "little whore" is a bit out of bounds.. IMO
