Pregnant after Depo?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice/reassurance. I've stopped taking the Depo shot in July after a few years on and off. We have been trying to get pregnant without any success so far. I know that it can take a while, especialy after Depo, but am getting slightly frusterated. All of the info out there mostly is about the pill or other BC. Has anyone had any success stories or tips? I've been ovulating, and can "feel" my body getting back to normal, but still no period yet. Anything you could give me would be appriciated!

If you haven't had a period and you're not pregnant (you've taken a test, right?) and it's been since July that you've had a period, you're probably not actually ovulating.

If it's been more than 60 days, most doctors will give you medication to force AF. For a lot of women, that's all they need to regulate after stopping BC. I would call your OB, if you haven't already.

I totally understand being frustrated! I threw away the pills almost a year ago and still haven't ovulated.

Thanks for the advice. According to the ovulation kits I've been using I have been ovulating, but who knows. This is all so frusterating! Good luck to you, too!!!
