She made up some fake story about her child having some illness and said the baby died. She took photos of it, and it really did look real, but someone had seen the doll before and knew it was fake. Yeah she was flamed to hell and back.

I don't think she actually bought the doll. I think one of the major red flags with the reader that recognized it was that it was a photo of the doll from the baby reborn site. Doesn't really matter...it was creepy all around. Total freak.

I think this is right. I remember watching a show about these dolls, it's scary how lifelike they are. Super expensive from what I remember too.
