Still looking for a pediatrician

Hi all,

We are still looking for a pediatrician for our LO.  I know I posted before but thought I would check in one more time with you ladies.  We met with someone on Monday but weren't thrilled.  We would prefer someone on the Westside - specifically if you have someone you like at Metropolitan Pediatrics or The Children's Clinic at Petercort that would be awesome.  WE are open to other opens as well.

    I don't have anyone to suggest, but I wanted to let you know that I'm impressed that you're taking your time to find a good fit.

    We see Dr Paul Thomas with Integrative Pediatrics.  We like him a lot!  He also uses an alternative vaccination schedule!  He's super close to St V's too.

    My OB uses him for his 2 kids and really likes him too.. We're thinking about using him as well, but I'm a little nervous that there is only 1 doctor in his clinic (him) ... how does that work with urgent needs?

    There is another lady doc who sees pts in his office too, but she's part time I think and only covers for him in the hospital if he is out.  There are also 2 NPs there for urgent needs.  He will pop in on your appt with one of the NP just to give a second look.  They also have COMPLETELY separate sick and well waiting areas and entrances.  The nurses always call back quickly if you have any questions.  HTH

    Cool.. I'll have to check them out.. I figure if you (a nurse) likes him and my OB likes him.. I should trust him :)

    Thank you!  I took a look at his website and he looks awesome.  I set up a meet and greet in January.
