Pictures w/ Santa: Did you dress your LO up for the pictures?

We'll be going to the mall with family on Saturday for lunch and Christmas shopping. While we're there, I was thinking about getting Anna's picture taken with Santa since there's a really cute setup in the mall, but I don't want her to have to be in a dressy outfit the entire day. She got a really cute dress that she'll be wearing w/ tights and patent (sp) leather shoes for Christmas, but I don't think I want her to wear that at the mall.

We'll just put her in something wintery or Christmas colors or something.

No..nothing fancy. Just a simple outfit. We haven't done it this year. I'm scared of her freaking out. Let me know how Anna does.

I hadn't thought about it until you asked...we'll probably just put her in something wintery/christmasy but not dressed up.

we're putting my DS in a navy blue sweater onepiece with reindeer on it. It's wintery, but not over kill.

I put DD in a dress. We don't do pro pics during the year, so the Santa pic is our "pro pic". Most days she's in jeans & tops, so I do go a little over the top with the Christmas pics. She's also going to wear the dress to Christmas morning Mass. It's nice to dress her up a bit. I, however, was wearing maternity jeans & a red top today, so I was not dressed up for the pics.
