could this phase be teething related or something else?

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months
B seems to be in a mood all.the.time. for the past few days.  He is usally a really happy, easygoing kid....but not right now.  He wants me to do everything for him, and nothing makes him happy.  Wont take off his pjs, cries when we get him dressed, cries when I put him in his highchair, cries when I have to force him to put his coat on, cries half way to daycare...you get the picture.  He has been chewing on his fingers again so I am suspecting his eye teeth are coming in possibly.  Is that enough to turn my usuallly happy kid into a sad, unhappy mess, or do you think it is something else?

    Same thing is going on with DS. He IS cutting all 4 eye teeth. Sucks, sucks, sucks!!!

    He is just so unhappy that it makes me worried that something else is wrong and I am missing it.

    DS has been like this for a while...he's getting a couple of 2 year molars so that's what I'm blaming.  He also has some extreme separation anxiety going on, so that doesn't help.  

    I miss my happy little boy!
