  Don't be nervous.  They're not bad.  Doc's going to stick his/her fingers up your looloo, they'll be able to feel how effaced and dilated you are.  Some docs are more comfortable/uncomfortable than others, but it's nothing to stress over at all IMO.

  Had 4 so far, last one only twinged a bit because she "stretched" me. Seriously more comfortable than your annual pap/pelvic! Spotting is common for some, I didn't at all.

  Like the girls said... No biggie. It is just a little uncomfortable. My OB said it is okay to have some spotting after too but I haven't had any and I have had two.

  It sorta feels like they are putting their whole arm up there. But no worries.

  I've had 7 in two weeks. You will totally survive.

  I have mine next week, and I'm not too worried about it.

  I did have the GBS test last night and was totally bugging out about it.  It turned out to be NOTHING.  Definitely way less annoying than a pap!
