It looks so cramped back there and do they care that they can't really see forward?

    Nope - kids fight over who gets to sit back there!  I know it looks cramped, but they love it.  My gf's bought hers when she was TTC (took her a year with her 2nd) and her DD prefers to ride in the back with no kid up front.  I've taken mine out with my gf and her DD (3) wants to ride in the back.

    I don't have one, but like the pp said, those I know with a P+T claim their kids fight over the bottom seat.
