Out of the TTC-POAS game for the next couple of months

This cycle was super funky, so definitely no hope.

DH is having knee surgery on the 10th of this month, and again next month.  While it's possible to have sex with one knee in pain, two knees is stretching it.

So I'm out.

    I know you have been thinking about trying TCM.  Have you been able to start any of that yet?

    No, we're waiting to hear back on our workman's comp case.  Then we need to figure out a budget/finances.  Maybe in a couple of months when we get everything together again.

    I hope that doesn't sound crazy stalkerish.  I just remember you & Chrysallis from when I first re-joined The Nest and I have been pulling for you two.  Now that she has Sabastian I just keep waiting for your miracle.  And yes...I know that makes me sound a little nutso.  Sorry.

    That is a bummer.  What kind of knee surgery is your DH having?  Mine just had arthroscopic sugery for a torn meniscus on the 18th.  He is still sore but otherwise good.

    Hope it all goes well and that he has a speedy recovery.  Maybe this will be the perfect break and it will happen once he is healed.

    He's having surgery for a torn lateral meniscus on his right knee, and they'll go in and smooth out the bone/joint in his left knee and fix the meniscus there as well.

    DH had the same thing except his meniscus was not repairable.  They just cut the flapping part away and smoothed everything down.  If it had been repaired the recovery would have been much worse.  He got a cortisone injection in his left knee so he may have more surgery down the road.  Darn old high school football injuries!
