Terrified and thoughts re: IVF#4

Good morning ladies..I'm totally freaking out. I posted yesterday that my E2 after 6 days of stims was around 2500. I went in for an US and I had around 30  measurable follies(there were several around 15 mm). I'm also extremely nauseous which I know means my E2 must be very high. I'm so scared this cycle is going to be cancelled. They took me off Gonal last night and continued with Repronex and Lupron so I'm coasting now. Does anyone have a similar exprerience or thoughts? I really, really do want this cycle to be cancelled. Thank you!

    I don't have any similar experiences or thoughts, because I have the opposite problem of low E2 levels.  I just wanted to say good luck, and I hope they don't cancel your cycle!!

    I have never had this situation but I have had a cancelled IVF and it stinks, I really hope the coasting works, and that your #4 is a success!!

    I have had around 30 measurable follies during both of my last two IVFs.  That in and of itself is not a death knell.  I assume they will call you with your E2 later today?  Are you open to doing a freeze-all?

    Thanks..that makes me feel better. Yes, I'm definitely open to doing a freeze all. I had mild OHSS before and it was not fun. I felt horrible and wouldn't want to go though that again! They will call me with my E2 this afternoon. Thanks again for responding.

    I have no experience but I am hoping the reduced stims will do the trick and they can keep OHSS away.  Hopefully they can control everything and you won't get cancelled.

    I hope that your E2 is doing ok and you get to proceed.  I have not had a canceled cycle but I can imagine how very frustrating it would be.  Sincerest best wishes for you!

    No personal experience, but also want to wish you well and hope your cycle continues.
    TTC since 3-08 IVF # 1 Dec 2011 BFP DD born at 31 weeks 6-24-12

    FET #1 Dec 2013 BFN

    FET # 2 Feb 2014 BFN

    No more frosties

    IVF #2. September 2014

    PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts

    SET November 9, 2014
    Nov 23, 2014. Another BFN

    Not sure where to go from here.

    Yes, I did during IVF #1..Had very high E2 at one point got to 4000/5000 I think right before my ER.. it was out of control. I had the nausea and the whole bit..My RE suggested taking Ginger Pills (you can find them at any CVS) to help also Pepto is ok...Make sure you also drink lots of water/gatorade it helps to flush all the estrogen out of your body..

    I also got slight OHSS and had some fluid around my ovaries..My RE had to take me off the Gonol F as well so I didn't over stimulate but then I only had 8 follies..So 30 is a great number!!..I would assume that your ER will be very soon...GL!

    Thanks so much! That's great to know about the ginger pills..I'm drinking a ton of water as we speak! I'm feeling much calmer after hearing from you ladies! Thanks again.

    I think the coasting will help.  Praying you don't get cancelled and don't get OHSS.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    My E2 went up to 6000 my first cycle - I wasn't cancelled, but I did have to take dostinex to try to prevent ohss and it had to be a freeze-all cycle (which we had planned in advance anyway).  If they are really worried, they'll take you off the Repronex, too (coasting is being off all stims).  Sounds like they don't have any plans to cancel you, so take a deep breath and expect good things this cycle!
