Oh, and I had the WORST.night.ever

last night.

i gave ds some tylenol at about 11 or 12. And because he wasn't feeling well and cranky I just let him sleep with us last night. Well after the tylenol we all 3 finally fell asleep. At some point after that I woke up for an unknown reason. The first thing I did when I woke was put my hand on ds' belly. I couldn't feel him breathing. I give him a little shake. I get nothing from him. I do it again. Still nothing. At this point I start freaking out and scream at DH, who wakes up, freaking out asking what. I cannot even tell him what as I'm trying to get ds to respond to me. He finally started moving around and took a deep sigh breath. I was able to tell dh why I woke him at this time. It felt like eternity but I know it was probably less than a minute. I was up for a very long time, shaking, and fell asleep with my hand on ds, feeling him breathe.

Now, I don't know if ds was breathing and I just didn't/couldn't feel it and he was in a really deep sleep from the tylenol, or if he really was not breathing and unresponsive. I would like to think I just didn't feel it, but I really don't know.

Now, I had this happen when he was really little, where I would wake up and wouldn't feel him breathing so I would give him a little shake and he would breathe a deep sigh and that was it. But that was a long time ago and last night was seriously, the worst, scariest, awful night of my entire life.
