  I know Cecelia is a perfectly normal spelling but to me it always looks misspelled.

  I agree with the above poster. When spelled with 2 e's, it looks misspelled. I go with the 2 i spelling mostly due to the Saint Cecilia. If you google the name with 2 e's, it'll ask you if you mean the spelling with 2 i's. That's good enough for me
