I have a co-worker who is about 8.5 months pregnant. I was talking to her last week and she mentioned that she is planning on a home birth (which I believe is her choice to make). My problem is that she told us that she hasn't yet told her hubby that she plans on a home birth and doesn't plan on telling him until its too late for him to take her to the hospital. (She's told him its a backup option in case her labor comes on early).
DH and I are friends with her hubby and now I feel guilty about not telling him. Would you do anything or just mind your own business?
Re: WWYD about a Co-worker?
I have no advice - but I hope everything turns out okay for that family. I think home birth sounds like an amazing option but I think it also has to be done safely and not spur of the moment arranged?
Good luck!
She's planned this out in amazing detail. She's already got a midwife and doula who will be there and all of the equipment she needs. He husband works long hours so he probably won't be around when she goes into labor, she is supposed to call him or have a neighbor drive her to the hospital, but she plans to wait to call him until the last possible minuet.
In case this matters its her third child, so she knows what she's getting into.

Well, in that case....I would leave it alone. Say a little prayer that this all goes well and zip it
