**Fricksgirl**

Ok, Heather, we need details.  How are you feeling?  How is the pregnancy going so far?  Are you bump-a-rific yet?

Are you going to find out the sex?

Come on, lady, spill it...

You guys are funny!  Ok, here's most of my details, I think.  You know I'm wordy so hang on, this will probably be a novel.

I got what I thought was an evap line on a test- I took it and tossed it aside (my af was VERY late, I was pretty sure I had an anovulatory cycle so I kept taking tests and they kept being negative) looked at it later that afternoon and- wow- 2 lines.  Was kind of not sure what to do.  Turns out it was reeeeeally early, even though af was late- getting off bc totally messed with me, and I ovulated way late, so I didn't get my bfp til Cycle Day 37!  Crazy right? I bought a digital the next morning and bam!  Pregnant!

Totally funny because me, Chris, and Alex were all huddled in the bathroom watching the damn digital thing flash and when it said "pregnant" I screamed, laughed, and cried all at once, Chris hugged me, and poor old Alex goes "I want a hug too!"   It was a totally memorable and teary Frick family hug moment.

Since I'm bigger anyway, I'm not feeling completely bump-a-licious yet, but my tummy is for sure getting harder and I'm pretty much in maternity clothes, although the rubber band trick worked for me for a while there.

I have been SOOOO tired (esp in the beginning) but that's starting to wain a little now.  I have been very gaggy/nauseous, not throwing up, but seriously heaving, pretty much every morning and whenever else it decides to hit.  I didn't have that at ALL with Alex, so that's been a fun new development!  ;)

We are for sure going to find out the sex.  I feel like it's another boy, my mom swears it's a girl.  I don't mind either one, but I do think it would be nice to have one of each.  Plus, we have a girl's name picked out (Gwendoline Emily- our dad's mom's names) and if it's a boy we are screwed- it took us FOREVER to agree on Alex!!  But, if it's a boy then I'm sure we will find the perfect name for him. Brothers are so cute, too!

This is it for me, once this one is born I am done (scheduling a tubal ligation with my C section) so whatever it is, s/he will complete our family and I'm sure it will be fabulous!

I'm telling my boss this afternoon, which should be fine, except he wants me to work full time next year, and now, well, I hope that's not going to happen.   I'll just tell  him good things come to those who wait!  :)  But, he will be happy that my maternity leave will overlap with summer (I'm due June 5 and probably will have my scheduled C section sometime between May 30 and June 4) and I'll be able to come back in the fall without missing a beat.  Wish me luck with that one, I'll report back later tonight!

Ok, so that was probably more about this pregnancy then you ever wanted to know!   THANKS for all the well wishes, it really is amazing and starting to feel real!!

    xoxo

How exciting!  And so cute you all took the test together.

Love the girl name, and don't worry, if it's a boy a name will come to you.  We picked "Sam" because DH was playing golf with a really nice kid named Sam one day and he came home loving the name (and completely forgetting that I had been suggesting it all along - always good to let them think it's their idea). :)

I'm glad you are feeling ok... I've heard no matter what gender the baby is, morning sickness gets worse with each pregnancy.  I hope it passes quickly.

Can't wait to see your bump!  I hope things go well with the boss man this afternoon - keep us posted.

    **Butting in!!**

YAY!  What a great story!  I love Alex's reaction! It is awesome that he sorta understands more about what is happenin'.  Caden was too young to get it.  (Not that any of them will REALLY get it until "it" comes.  :)

I hafta say- so far things sound eerily SO much like my experience-

    - I didn't have m/s w/ C, but had your same symptoms when pg w/ A. (hint, hint).

    - You are due almost exactly one year after I was due.  (my EDD was June 1, Alana was born on 5/26).

    - I had a scheduled c/s and tubal ligation.

Congrats AGAIN!  :)  :)  :)  I am so happy for you!
