I'm in my first Clomid/IUI cycle and I have a couple questions...
1. What time of the day is best to take the OPKs? (I'm sorry, I know this has been asked a lot)
2. Around what day did you get a positive? I'm on CD11 and haven't received a positive yet...
Thanks for any info!!
Re: OPK question/IUI question
I use the clear blue easy monitoring kit and I test in the morning. I get a high warning and then the ovulation peak. On clomid I was high starting day 9 or 10 but didn't ovulate til day 15-18.
Hope this helps!
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
My RE has asked me to test around noon every day. She said definitely don't use FMU and don't intentionally drink a lot of water before testing. I believe in testing 2x/day, too, just in case.
On Clomid, I O way earlier than naturally. The days I take Clomid have made a difference to when I O'd. Taking Clomid CD5-9, I got +OPK around CD15. With Clomid CD3-7, I usually start getting +OPK around CD10.
It's frustrating not to be able to confirm O afterward since the trigger shot will give you a false +. Just have to assume the shot does its job!
