What are your thoughts on getting santa pics with babies just a few weeks old? I'm leaning towards no, just b/c of all the germs flying around. What is everyone else doing???

We are going today. But my little guy is practically a toddler (hee hee so it seems) I probably wouldn't with a newborn. We are having a family party where one of the grandpas will dress in a santa suit for the kids. I would do something like that.
I am still undecided. Do you think Santa will let me spray him with lysol?

We are going tomorrow. Carly will be 7.5 weeks. She was born a month early so I guess she is considered a preemie.
I'm going to be there at 10 am when Santa starts so hopefully he will have on a clean suit and we will be the first ones in line.
My 2 year old is saying no santa all day today so it might be a bust anyway.
I stayed home for the first 6 weeks and am not antsy to get out so we wash our hands and take precautions, but if I was working, she would be back in daycare by now. I figure a few carefully coordinated outings hopefully won't get her sick.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...not only is the piggy flu out there it's RSV season...I do NOT want to visit you and Sophia at Childrens. I'm NEVER going there again...and NONE of my friends are having babies GO There EVER..hear me!??????????
I went out a week after DD was born, as soon as I was allowed to drive, but I don't think I would have a few week old baby with santa. Even today I took my 9 month old and made sure I was there right when they opened so he hadn't touched a bunch of kids all day.
Some members of my family think I'm crazy but I'm thinking that I am going to have my husband dress up as Santa and I will take pictures of him with our lo. That way we don't have to worry about the germs and then when my lo gets older we can tell him that that was Daddy. I'm not sure if my husband likes the idea but he said he would!
