AW: Diaper Cake & burp cloth PIP and question

Here is the diaper cake I made for a friend who is due to deliver any day now.  She's expecting her 2nd baby and the gender is a surprise.  They also live in a pretty small apartment, so I wanted to get her something she could use, but not take up a lot of space.  So, I made 10 burp cloths and a diaper cake.

Here are the burp cloths...

Now, my question... I'd also like to give her the book that is in the 1st pic, but I'm not sure how to attach it?  Any ideas?  Should I just wrap it on the side?

    I would bundle your burp clothes and tie it to the top of them.

    Oh, I guess it's not very clear... the burp cloths are in the cake.

    I would give it as a separate gift; you could attach a card to it as well that way.

    Was it really only 10 burp cloths? I was thinking about doing this for a friend but I wasn't sure how many burp cloths I would need.

    Yeah, the only burp cloths I used were the ones in the PIP.  There are 10 of them, and I used 90ish size 1 diapers.  You can kinda see the burp cloths rolled on the sides.

      Ohhh, sorry! !I would just give it attached to the card perhaps or maybe use a piece of ribbon and somehow tie it to the top so it hangs over the side???

    That's an interesting idea... I'll try that and see how it looks.
