giving gifts to teachers? DD is in 5th grade and she has 3 teachers this year. I am getting them all gift cards like I normally would. Next year, she will have a different teacher for each class. How does that work?

Home-made baked goods scare me since I don't know if they let the kids help (and if the kids helped, I don't know if they washed their hands, etc). Yeah, I'm a germaphobe like that!
Re: At what age do you stop...
I don't think I gave anything to my teachers after elementary school unless it was a teacher I really liked.
ETA: As a teacher, I really like gift cards. Cheesy "A+ teacher" stuff, not so much.
This.
::waves HI::
I would stop once they hit MS or when they start having more than one teacher. That could get really costly!!!
Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving

I have heard this from many teachers. I used to feel bad doing, but I was told they have to throw away so much "junk".
Look for my "My Thanksgiving Vaction" post... it has all of the "great" details.
