What was your next course of action. I met with my doctor today and I'm going to the repeat loss panel next week. Was anyone given progesterone suppliments, clomid, baby aspirin, or anything like that? Thanks.

We are now seeing a genetic counselor in the hopes of ruling out any parental factors.

I am going to ask my OB about the RPL panel as well.

We did a repeat loss panel. I'm going to ask the doc about doing a 7DPO progesterone just to see if we should supplement, I guess. I'll do that when we go over the RPL panel.

I'm on aspirin, extra folic acid, and that's it. I'm feeling rather hopeless but I've put on my Suzie Sunshine face. . .

This is my 2nd m/c and I have another consult tomorrow with RE to see about doing the RPL Panel. Let me know what ur doc says and I will do the same. GL!

I had my follow up today actually after my d&c. We started the testing today as well. He said it will take several weeks for the results, however. I have had four m/c, and my OB doesn't believe they will find anything because I have had a successful pregnancy.

He said that most recurrent losses are due to clotting disorders if there is a problem that can be found. In that case a blood thinner is used. He told me that it doesn't always appear during your blood work though. He said that it couldn't hurt to take baby aspirin from the moment I find out I'm pregnant and continue it all through a pregnancy. It can't hurt, and it might help were his words. I had considered taking it with this pregnancy but didn't. With any future pregnancies, however, I will definitely be taking it no matter what my tests say.

I'm so sorry for your losses. After my 2nd loss, my ob/gyn referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist to complete a rpl panel, karyotyping, and saline hysterosonogram (to check my uterus for any structural abnormalities). I was basically given extra folic acid (& I now also take baby aspirin by choice). Needless to say, none of it prevented my 3rd m/c, but I felt better knowing that I ruled a lot of things out. I guess I figured that if it was something simple, like taking a pill, I wanted to do it. GL w/everything!

after my 2nd loss.. my ob referred me to a specialist.. i'm waiting till after the holidays to make an appointment..

I was put on baby aspirin due to my value of 23 from the Anticardiolipin Antibodies test. I am still waiting for the result from another test that I took recently. And I asked my obgyn when I got pregnant again, if I could be put on a progesterone supplement. She put me on 100mg of Prometrium. So it is a waiting game to see if this helps out with this pregnancy.

After my 2nd loss I had the RPL then DH and myself had chromosomal testing which was all normal. My OB put me on prenatal vitamin (I take Target Brand), baby aspirin and extra folic acid. Then starting each month on 5 dpo I take 2 vaginal suppositories of progesterone until either AF shows up or when I am pregnant for 11-12 weeks.

After my second loss we had everything but RPL and genetic testing. I was put on progesterone suppliment and baby asperin with pg #3 and still lost the baby. We will do the RPL and genetic testing in January, but we are going back on the pill for 6 months until we get some results. I don't want to lose another baby, this last one was very hard on all of us.
