Internal vs Regular U/S

Hi Ladies,

I'm just wondering when you started having the regular belly u/s instead of the internal?

bfp 5/17/09 - missed m/c 6/17/09 @ 9w - stopped growing 6w 1d, D&C 6/19/09
BFP #2 10/13/2009 on our 2nd Wedding Anniversary
Discovered TWINS during the 6w u/s - what a shocker!
Delivered on 5/19/2010 at 34 weeks due to pre-e and HELLP syndrome

    I never had an internal.  My first u/s at 8 weeks was regular/external.

    I'm sure that by your next u/s they won't need to do the vaginal.

    Oh Good! 

    I've got another u/s tomorrow and was hoping that I could avoid the internal.

    I had internal ultrasounds up until I was in the ER at 10 weeks.

    last time i had an external at 10 weeks. never had an internal. have one at 9 weeks this time. we will see what i get. . . .

    I had internal at 8w 4days.  nt scan was done 11w 4days by external. I didnt mind the internal.  The baby was in a bad position for the scan and they had to poke my belly trying to get it to move.  Not so comfortable.  Good luck

    With my first I was 11 week when they attempted an external, but couldn't see anything, so had to do an internal. This time I go at 9 weeks, so I am assuming it will be internal.
