We are expecting our 1st baby in June and are shocked at the price of full time infant care. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions in the western suburbs. We currently live in Lombard.
Thanks,
Deborah

I don't think there is such a thing, lol. All kidding aside, when we were looking we went to all the big places & there wasn't anything under $1000 for full time infant care. I would check out in-home care if I were you. Good luck!
i am also in the western 'burbs, and i've looked at most of the day care centers, everything from montessori to kindercare-type centers. everything we saw was, like naturelle25 said, about $1000/month or more. if you are open to in-home care, you should look at care.com -- they have listings for nannies, home care, and baby sitters, and it might give you a good place to start. good luck, and post if you have any information to share -- we still haven't chosen a place for our baby, due may 2010!
A more affordable child care facility is the Kindercare on Diehl. They charge approximately $1,200 / month for full time infant care. My DD absolutely LOVES her teachers.
