DH's grandmother called us tonight....I was playing with LO while DH talked to her. I was just rambling to LO about his great grandparents and then just started crying. My grandparents all passed away when I was in high school or younger. I just felt so bad that he would never meet his great grandparents on my side. My family is so close....and it just breaks my heart that they never met him and he will never meet them. They were such neat people!

thanks....i will always tell him how special they were. i just hope LO gets to spend more time with his grandparents (my parents) than I did mine.

Right there with you only there are no great grandparents on either side for us. Sad
