I have one and love it. I used it a lot more when he was first born, but still use it now. There are some days when my brain is just nowhere to be found and the Itzbeen really helps. I keep track of the last diaper change, feeding, and the last time I pumped. I haven't set the alarm yet but it seems like a cool feature. I like it.
We have one and LOVE it..alot of ppl say oh we dont need that or you wont use it but were actually someone who does. It nice for when someone else babysits and they can easily know when to feed or how long its been since they ate or were changed. I also use the spare timer for my daughter she's potty training and we set the timer to remind her its time to try again. I love the light on the top for in the middle of the night feedings, its not to bright or to dim! Its really helpful, and when i'm done using it I plan on passing it on to a friend or buying another for expecting friends!
it's a lot easier than writing down when you feed them to remember when was the last time you did so. We religiously used it the first few weeks, but havent the last few days because it's been craxzy with the growth spurt.
honestly, we didn't find this as useful as I thought we would. There's no way to track the overall number of feedings or diapers, which is important in the first few weeks. I found I needed to keep a more detailed feeding log.
"For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever."
I have one and feel totally naked without it. I've forgotten it a few times and freaked out...lol. I BF so it's helpful to keep track of things. I hate looking at the clock or writing anything down. More than anything it's helped me track DS's patterns. I also find it comes in handy for knowing how long it's been since he ate as well as how long he's sleeping at night.
You wouldn't miss it if you didn't have it, but once you have it, it's hard to imagine life without it. I doubt I'll use it as much when DS gets to be older, but for now, I just love it.
Thanks! I BF on demand and lately it feels like she's always hungry. I'm not sure if it's just a growth spurt or if time is just flying by and I'm not realizing it because of the all the things that go along with being a new mom. I think I might pick one up because of all the different ways to use it, like pumping, etc. ?Thanks again for your help!

If you have an iphone, I downloaded an app called Total Baby that basically does the same thing (for $4.99). I was really dependent on it with BFing and diapers in the beginning. I quit using it yesterday, I just felt like I was tied to it and it started stressing me out. But it was great initially.

I have one. I thought it would be great when I bought it, but we just don't use it. I guess I just find it easier to remember when he ate than to use a timer. Other people swear by it though ...

I have an iPod Touch and I use this app also. It works so well and also tracks the total diapers for the day, time since last feeding, which side, how long each side, and total feeding time. And you can enter in bottle feedings as well and track naps, baths and there's a "other" timer that you can use for whatever. It's awesome (and only $5)
i have one, use it religiously, and LOVE it! I EBF so it's super helpful to remind me which side i fed from first at the last feeding. it also helped to get a sense of his feeding schedule since i do feed on demand and it's usually 2.5-3 hrs. it allows me to plan my day without having to relay on memory (which blows).

Nope--don't need one now.
However, I think this would be SUPER helpful for a BF-ing mom b/c I know how I was that first two weeks we were BF-ing. CRAZY I tell ya, crazy!
