So I haven't posted in a while because we are on a forced Lupron inj break. Like I posted previously I won't be TTC again til June or July. Anywho, I have an appointment for my first Lupron inj on Wed, and my RE warned me that the side effects can be pretty drastic. For the ladies that have had endo and Lupron therapy, what were your side effect (symptoms) from the medication? I was told I would have major mood swings, night sweats, weight gain, any many more horrible side effects. This will be my first one so Im just trying to prepare myself for what to expect. TIA!
Re: Any Lupron inj ladies?
I am on lupron for our FET right now. It really depends on your dose. When I am on 10mg... I am a zombie. I want to sleep all the time. My brain feels super foggy, and I have zero energy. I never had night sweats or major mood swings.... I definately have less patience though.
When I am on 5, I feel pretty normal. I am still pretty absent minded on 5, but nothing like 10. I still have a lot of the foggy feeling, but more energy.
I have gained weight. I gained about 10lbs with my IVF cycle... and so far about 5 with this FET.
Overall... it isn't too bad as far as meds I have been on. I was MUCH more moody on Clomid than on lupron.

Oh thank you, this makes me feel so much better. My dose is 3.75mg so you give me hope that I won't so bad. Thanks so much for the info!
ETA: Clomid made me super moody too! So I was hoping it wouldn't be worse than that as well.
No, I was horrible on clomid (my DH thought I was crazy).... Lupron is nothing compared to that. I just feel like I am dragging myself EVERYWHERE. I think that my weight gain is from lack of energy more than the actual medication. I just can't seem to pull myself to the gym. I also get pretty bad headaches on 10mg, but have yet to get one on 5mgs.
Are you doing it everyday? I have found that using ice really helps. I ice my stomach for a few minutes and usually don't feel the injection at all. The needle is tiny, so it isn't bad without the ice (I am just a baby).
