Old Navy Maternity Jeans question

Old Navy has a 20% off deal today only plus free shipping, and I would like to stock up on some maternity clothes if I can.  I would especially like a pair of jeans.  Here's the dilema.  Their sizing chart says 8-10 is a Medium, 12-14 is Large.  I wear a 10 or 12 in normal jeans.

My question is, would you order the M or the L?  I just don't want them to be huge, but I don't want them to be too small either.

Anyone else bought some?  Did they run larger or smaller than you expected?

Re: Old Navy Maternity Jeans question

  • I wish I would have ordered a size smaller when I did!

  • You would probably be okay with the M, but I would hang on to your receipt so you can exchange if you need to.

  • Their maternity tends to run big. ?I have an Old Navy with maternity section and I found that their size two in maternity fit me the best. ?I usually wear a size 4/6. ?I say go with the M.

  • Just had to share my concern with Old Navy maternity.  I ordered a pair of jeans on Friday because they were on special, only $15!  They processed my order, and today when I check the status it showed it was cancelled!  When I clicked on the same pair of jeans, they are now at $30, double the price.  This was the first time I ordered online, so I don't know if this happens often, or if I just experienced a fluke.
  • I just got my first pair in the mail today. I'm exchanging them for a size smaller. I got the 8(M). They were fine in the stomach cuz I knew I'd grow into them, but the butt, hips, and thighs were huge. I knew I would never wear them in public with them being so baggy.
  • I would order your normal size I was a 2-4 pregnancy. I ordered a small and they fit perfectly with a little extra growing room in the waist.
  • I usually wear a 6, and their S is a bit roomy for me (and too long). I think they may run large.

  • You'll probably be OK with a Medium.  I find that Old Navy's maternity wear runs a tad bit large.  I wear a size 6 normally, and I can fit into a size S, sometimes even XS!

    Good luck!

  • I just bought a pair this week and I am usually a 14-16 and I got a 14 and they are a little big.  I would try the medium!  GL
  • Thanks everyone!!
