So I got my THT Wool

And I confess . . . I have no idea what to do with it. Do I wash it, do I lanolize it (which I have no idea what that is, BTW)? Is there something about wool on the EFF blog?

  • Yep, there's one great post on the EFF blog about wool.  Check it out - you'll learn pretty much all you'll need to know (at least as a beginner :) ).

  • She doesn't lanolize her wool before sending it, so you will want to lanolize it. I also lanolize in the sink.   I boil water and dump in the sink with some lasinoh lanolin and swish around until it melts.  I put in some warm water from the tap and a squirt of baby wash then put in the wool.  I make sure the wool takes on the water and submerges and let sit.  I often forget  about it, so it usually sits a good 30 min to an hour if not longer.  I then rinse, roll in a towel, and air dry.
