Who else is on a break?

Given our travel plans over the next month, we're on a break until January....as much as I want so badly to be pregnant, I'm a little relieved to not be cycling for a little bit...the meds, the dr appts, the stress....who else is on a break until 2010?

I guess you can say I'm on a break, I've been on a break since I found out IVF is our only option, I haven't really started lol! But, I'm hoping to start IVF In the spring time.

We are on a break. We decided with the holidays and the craziness that seems to always happen around this time of year we would wait until 2010. We are meeting with RE to discuss IUI w/injects or IVF options... but we aren't going to do anything until Jan 2010 at the earliest.

I agree it has been a relief to not have the meds, dr appts, & stress! My husband asked if they would do an u/s at the appt on the 7th, I said it probably depended on my cycle day. He asked what day I was on that day, and I looked at him smiled and said "I have no idea!". That is the first time in a long time I didn't know that offhand!

We are on a break until July 2010. My DH is a college coach and his season gets going in January and he'll be on the road 75% of the time until the end of June.

We're on a financial/emotional break until we can save for FET #1. We're still having unprotected sex and progesterone but don't really think it will do anything.

We are on a break until Jan. 2010. I needed a break after my lap, and it has been wonderful not going to the RE or taking meds (besides metformin).

We are doing one more IUI w/injectables then taking another break to save up for IVF.

As of right now we are on break until Feb. 2010 but it could be longer. I might have to have surgery on my tale bone and the recovery is really long and they wont do it now because my sister is getting married in Jan in Puerto Rico (which hopefully will be a fun mini vacation). Anyways I go back to the other Dr. Feb 2nd and they're hoping that it will get better and I wont have to have surgery so then we'll be back on the wagon and trying again in Feb.

We're on a break, no insurance and recent M/C has us not temping, peeing on sticks or anything until January.

We are on a break because of a cyst. ?We may get to have one more attempt at the very end of December if all goes well. ?We should have been doing our IUI #2 on Thursday- stupid cyst. ?If we can't try one more time in 2009 we may wait a couple of months to rest emotionally and physically.

Hopefully I'm at the end of my break. Finished progesterone on Tgving Day, waiting for AF now. Crossing my fingers for no cysts so I can (try) to get the show on the road again!

We have been on a saving/debt paying/grad school break for 1 1/2 yrs. We are finally going to not be on a break in April/May 2010. I am so excited and can't wait to get going again. I have to redo all the b/w and we have to pick a donor in Jan/Feb to get ready. So technically we are getting back on the wagon in Jan/Feb.

I'm on a break indefinitely while we save a ton of $ for IVF. and since MH is a teacher, summers work best for cycling at least for IVF- and since I doubt we'll save enough by this summer- its looking like we'll be on a break until 2011 :-(

I'm hoping for a miracle BFP- Wouldnt it be great if we all got one while we were waiting...

We're on a break too. DH is away on a training course this cycle, and my RE's office is closed between X-mas and NY's, and that would be around when i'd be O'ing on stims, so it looks like we're off until January.

I sucks, however, i've got to say, it's kinda nice to not have the sore bb's this cycle!

We only did 2 cycles this year. This makes me sad. But we are still on a break. We met with our new RE in July and I have been on Met and look forward to trying in January. With the holidays and stuff it would be hard.

We are! For the same reason you mentioned- traveling. I was hoping I could still do this cycle, but it just wouldn't work out with timing of monitoring, etc.

We are on a break until after the holidays and my birthday (at the end of Feb.)....so we are looking at starting again in March.
