NBR: F/U to escaped convict.

in 3rd Trimester

They lifted the lockdowns on the schools around here at 2pm, but this creep is still on the loose.  And it's getting dark...DH and I will be bringing my mom our shotgun.  My dad is working graveyards tonight, so it will be just her and my sister home alone.  Yet another sleepless night for TXT...

    I saw this..dh called me and told me to keep the doors locked..we live North of Houston around Porter..Not anywhere near Huntsville but "you never know dear"..yes honey..Of course he also said "see this is why we have guns in the house"..we even have one hidden in the living room in a clock made especially for that reason...men and their guns..lol

    *pleasant sigh* I do love how we think in Texas. You have no idea how much money I have saved on home insurance for the questions about home security systems. Yep, I have several...Glock, Smith & Wesson, Berreta, Remington, etc...

    I'm sure your Mom knows that the sound of a shotgun being racked is like flipping someone off. It's a universal sound that is never forgotten. GO MOM!!

    Dude, I want that clock lol.  It's a scary situation considering my parents live just around the corner from the college/library where the guy escaped.  My sister's high school is right next door to the college, too.  I told her to check the bed of her truck and the back seat before she even unlocked the door.  Scary scary stuff.
