I live in a mandate state (maryland), but work in DC (non mandate). My insurance is through my employer. Does that mean I am covered by DC, ie non mandate? What about my husband whose employer is in Maryland?
My insurance is from a mandated state MA ( DH's company is based out of MA) and we live in Florida..We have full coverage for IVF hear in FLA. It is a pain in the butt though cause BCBS has to first bill BCBS of FLA, then MA and somethings have gottten lost in the shuffle. But I am anale about it and stay up with the insurance companys..I call them all the time..
I think for this to apply to you your company has to be based in the Mandated state...
Re: mandate state question
I could be wrong, but I believe it is the state in which your insurance coverage is based.
Could you call both insurances and compare the benefits????
